Some changes are planned for the Fair this year due to the global pandemic.  Fairgoers are encouraged to maintain social distancing while on the Fairgrounds.  Specific examples of these changes will be the absence of the popular bounce house and carnival rides,  signs posted on the Fairgrounds encouraging everyone to follow CDC social distancing guidelines, staying in family groups when attending events, extra hand washing stations, and wearing facemasks if comfortable doing so.  For added safety, the Fair Board encourages fairgoers to bring lawn chairs this year to enjoy the “fresh country air.”

Food and merchandise vendors will be invited to set up as usual.  They will also follow health department guidelines.  Vendor spot pricing and information can be obtained at (620) 249-5463.

The popular 4H Livestock sale will be held on Saturday August 1st.

In support of the Grandstand 2020 Project, The Fair Board is selling chances to win a brand new ATV.  Look for the ATV on display at Producers COOP in Girard.  Nearly 100,000 has been raised toward the $300,000 grandstand facility construction goal.
